A Place Of Safety

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10 (ESV)

Storms can come with or without warning. When we know a storm is coming, we can prepare and make sure we have the necessary provisions to help us make it through the storm. When storms come without warning we can find ourselves in precarious situations and not know how we are going to navigate our way through the floods, hail, and wind that come with the storms. No matter if we are prepared or not, we know we have a safe place that we can go in the time of storms. The Scripture reminds us, the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. I encourage you today to remember that you have a strong tower that is always available to you. In the time of trial, test, tribulation, and storms, the strong Tower is there for you to find a place of rest and security. The strong tower is there for you not only in the time of storms, but any time day or night you can find refuge, safety, joy, peace, and love in the strong tower. The Lord is that strong tower that you can find everything you need, and when you know Him, you can run in and be safe from whatever life chooses to throw at you. In my good and my bad days, I will always find my safety in the strong tower that is God. Since I know that I can run to the strong tower and be saved and safe, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for being my strong tower. In the midnight hour when the storms of life are raging, I find everything I need in you. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
