A Light In Darkness
November 24, 2023
"Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous." Psalm 112:4
There are going to be days when we are going to feel like nothing goes our way. No matter how hard we try to make things come out right somehow it does not. There are also some people who we will not be able to satisfy no matter what we do or say. In these times we should remember that we have done our best, and the rest we need put in God's hand. The Scripture reminds us that, unto the upright there arises light in the darkness: He is gracious and full of compassion, and righteous. I encourage you today to remember no matter how dark the day or night may become, you can always look to God who is light for every one of your dark situations. When you are following God and the things He has laid out for your life there are going to be some rough spots when you may not understand where God is taking or leading you. In these times remember that God knows where He is taking you, and all you go through is to prepare you for the place He has for you. God has a place prepared just for you, where others will not go. God is gracious to you, and He is full of compassion for the things you are going through, and the things you have been through. God is also righteous, and He expects us to be righteous as well. Your relationship with God is the most important relationship in your life. God is light for you, and He will direct you through all the dark paths on your journey in life. I thank God He is light even when things are dark around me. Since God is full of compassion for me, I know without a doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord you are my light in every dark situation I face. You are my guide and my protector, and I thank you for always leading and guiding me in the right paths. Thank you for the light that shows me the way you would have me to go. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
