A Day Of Thanksgiving

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!” 1 Chronicles 16:34 (ESV)

As another year is quickly coming to a end each of us has so much to be thankful for. The Lord has been good to each of us and has brought us through some things that we never would have thought we could have made it through. People may have walked out of our lives, but The Lord has been there with us the entire time. Even when we made mistakes The Lord was right there to pick us up and dust us off and give us the strength to get back up again. Not only has The Lord given us His love, but He has also given us His grace and mercy. Each of us has so much to be thankful for even if things are not working out the way we think they should right now. The Scripture reminds us to give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast loves endures forever! I encourage you to let today be a day of thanksgiving for all the great things The Lord has done and is doing in your life. Look where The Lord has brought you from. Look what The Lord has brought you out of to bring you to where you are today. The Lord has kept you when you needed to be kept and blessed you when you needed a blessing in your life. Give thanks to The Lord not because everything is going well for you, but give thanks to The Lord because He is good. No matter what your situation looks like right now there is no denying that The Lord is good. Thank the Lord because His mercy endures forever and ever. His mercy never fades it and it never gets old, it is always more than enough. No matter what is going on in my life, for the rest of my life I will give thanks to The Lord every day because He is good and His mercy and His love for me endures forever. Since I will always thank The Lord no matter what I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Thank you Lord for everything you have done and are doing in my life. Thank you for your mercy, grace, and love that you always give to me. Thank you for my good and my bad days. Thank you Lord for saving me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
