Jesus Prayed For Me
March 25, 2026
“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” Luke 22:31-32 (ESV)
For those of us who are parents we want to see our children do well in everything they try. Whatever they want to be in life, we want to make sure that their desires are fulfilled if possible. No good parent wants to see or desires for their child to be unsuccessful. It is a great that we are God's children because He only desires great things for our lives. Unfortunately, the enemy has desires for our lives as well. The enemy desires for us not to be successful, and not to make it through any storms, and if he could, he would destroy us every chance he had. The Scripture tells us that Jesus reminds Simon that satan demanded to have him, that he might sift him like wheat, but Jesus had prayed for him, that his faith did not fail: and when he was converted he was to strengthen the brothers. I encourage you today to remember that the enemy is real, and he does not want to see you succeed, but also remember that Jesus has prayed for you that your faith would not fail in the midst of the trial. The enemy wants to destroy you, but you cannot concern yourself with the enemy’s plans for you, you must keep your faith in The Lord and remember that there is something more powerful than his desire to destroy you, and that is Jesus’ prayers for you. Regardless of what the enemies pan for you is, Jesus has a greater plan for your life, and that plan is to ensure that you make it through anything the enemy throws your way. Do not become disheartened when the enemy tries his tricks on you, but remember Jesus has interceded for you, and He will see you through every trick and trap of the enemy. When Jesus brings you out, you cannot forget to strengthen those who may be going through similar trials and tribulations in their lives as well. I know the enemy does not desire any good thing to happen for my life, but I know that Jesus is interceding for me, and I know He will bring me through it all. Since I will not allow my trials to weaken my faith in the Lord I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for not allowing the enemy to have his desire over my life. Thank you for always praying for me and helping me to navigate every trick the enemy sets up for my life. Thank you Lord for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
