"Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee." Psalm 118:28

It is such a wonderful thing to have God as our God. There are other people and things who may try to set themselves up as god, but there is not another god like our God. The God we serve is awesome and is doing wonderful things in our lives. The God we serve has kept us through difficult times in our lives and has given us the sunshine after the rain. The God we serve has made ways out of no way and has performed miracles in our lives. The God we serve no matter how dark the day may become will always let us know there is a bright side somewhere. The God we serve no matter how down we may be picks us up and turns us around. Our God deserves to be praised and exalted for all the wonderful things He continues to do in our lives. The Scripture reminds us that He is God, and we will praise Him: for He is our God, we will exalt Him. I encourage you today to lift up the name of Jesus wherever you are today. Exalt Him in every aspect of your life, He has brought you from a long way and He deserves your praise. He is your God and He knew you from the foundation of the earth and loved you before you were even born. Your God loves you despite the things you may go through, and when everyone else leaves you, your God is there for you. God has claimed you as His child and since you are His child, He will always take care of you. I thank God He is my God and is doing wonderful things in my life, and even when the sun is not shinning in my life, He is still my God. I will praise Him and exalt Him for His unconditional love He has towards me. Since He is my God and I will praise Him, and exalt Him, and when the praises go up the blessings come down and I know, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for being my God. Thank you for always keeping and covering me in every season of my life. I will praise you and magnify your name because you are worthy of all praise and honor. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
