Strength In Waiting
January 28, 2026
“Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the LORD!” Psalm 31:24 (ESV)
Life often confronts us with uncertainties and moments of vulnerability. Whether we are navigating personal struggles, facing difficult decisions, or enduring seasons of waiting, it is natural to feel weary and overwhelmed. In these seasons of waiting they also need to be seasons of trusting in God to see us through. Through it all we are going to have to be strong and remember that our strength is not defined by our circumstances but our strength is found in God. The Scripture reminds us, be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord! I encourage you today to be strong and take courage as you wait on The Lord knowing that He will see you through. David addresses those who have chosen to wait for the Lord those who look to God in faith, even when circumstances are challenging. This verse is both a gentle encouragement and a powerful command: Be strong, and let your heart take courage. The strength David speaks of does not come from self-reliance, but from a deep trust in God's faithfulness. To wait for the Lord means to hope in Him, to trust that He is working even when we cannot see it or feel it. When life is challenging remember The Lord has always brought you through and just like He did it before He will do it again for you. No matter what it is that I may be facing I am going to wait on The Lord and be strengthened knowing that The Lord will come and see about me. Since I am waiting on The Lord and being strong in my faith, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord, I am waiting on you and I know that you will give me the strength to make it through every challenging situation I may face. I know that you are always with me and you will never leave me alone. I will be strong and take courage, because all my strength is found in you. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
