Be Transformed

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2 (ESV)

All of us are creatures of habit when it comes to some things that we do consistently. We do some of the same things the same way each time that we do it. We travel to work the same route at the same time almost every day. When something comes in and throws our routine off and we are forced to make adjustments, that change can be uncomfortable. Change is not easy in any situation, but many times it is necessary if we are truly going to accomplish the things that The Lord has for us. The Scripture reminds us that we should not be conformed to this world, but be renewed by the transforming of our mind, that we may prove what is the good and acceptable will of God for us. I encourage you today to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Allow The Lord to renew and refresh you daily, and do not be conformed to habits and doing the same thing the same way each time, be open to what The Lord wants to change in your routine. When you are transformed by the renewing of your mind there are some things that would have bother you before, but because of the transformation you have gone through they do not bother you now. Do not only be transformed in your mind by in your spirit as well, so that you can know without a doubt what is the good and acceptable will of God for your life. God has some things that He has already destined you to do; you have to get on the same page with God so you can walk in your destiny. Every day I need The Lord to transform me closer to being the person He wants me to be, and as I am transformed by the renewing of my mind, I can see more clearly the perfect will of God for me. Since I am being transformed daily, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, transform me every day so I can be who you called me to be. Transform me to walk in your perfect will for my life and that you will get all the glory, honor and praise out of my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
