“With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, O LORD, for it is good.” Psalm 54:6 (ESV)
There are some people that we will do anything for. It does not make a difference what it is that they are asking for, if it is in our power to do it, we will sacrifice time, energy, and resources to make it happen for them. There are also those who will do anything for us if they can make it happen. One of the reasons we will make this sacrifice for them, and they make the sacrifice for us, is because we know they are not taking advantage of us, and that we know it is from the heart with love that we do it. There should be no doubt in our hearts or our minds that The Lord loves us, and He has already shown us how much by sacrificing His life for ours, and with love shown to us like that we should have no problem sacrificing unto Him. The Scripture reminds us that with freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, O Lord, for it is good. I encourage you today to remember that no matter what it is that you may be facing in your life that The Lord is good, and He is worth your sacrifice unto Him. The Lord is always with you through, and there is not a time where He has not come through for you. Sacrifice unto The Lord from what He has already given unto you. Sacrifice your resources, time, and your praise for He is so good to you. Praise The Lord for He goodness, and mercy He has shown to you. I will sacrifice freely unto The Lord every day, because He is good to me, and I will praise Him all the days of my life because He is worthy of the praise. Since I will sacrifice freely and praise His name always, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for sacrificing for me. Thank you for not going a part of the way, but going the entire way and loving me always. As I give to you my freewill offering of praise, worship, resources, time, and talent I do it from the heart knowing that you have already blessed me greatly. Thank you for everything Lord. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
