The Father Will Pick You Up
October 23, 2025
"The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down." Psalm 145:14
A little girl wanted to learn how to ride her bike without her training wheels, and her father decided it was time that he teaches her how to ride. He told that she needed to balance and to keep peddling to be able to ride. The father would get behind the bike and push her down the street and when he let go, she would fall and he would run and pick her up and push her again. After many times of trying and falling the little girl wanted to give up, but the father kept on encouraging her to keep going, not long after wanting to give up the little girl finally was able to rid her bike without falling. Many times, in life we are like this little girl we cannot get our balance, and we keep falling but every time we fall the Father is there to pick us up and encourage us to try again. The Scripture reminds us that The Lord upholds all that fall, and raises up all those who are bowed down. I encourage you today to remember that no matter how many times you fall the Father is right there with you to pick you up, and to encourage you to try again. The Lord is there when you feel like you do not want to go on any longer. He is there to pick you up, and to dust you off, and put you right back in the place you need to be. Do not give up because things are tough or difficult right now, but keep trusting the Father to pick you up, and place you back on bike ride of life, and sooner or later you will be riding and knowing if you fall you have nothing to worry about because the Father is there to pick you up, Not only will He pick you up He is there to encourage you that even in the face of challenges and difficulties, and no matter what it looks like you do not have to be down, you can make it through it all. I am grateful to have a God that is always there with me to pick me up no matter how many times I fall, and gives me what I need to run on. Since the Father is behind me pushing me picking me up every time I fall on the path of life, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord thank you for being a loving Father. No matter how many times I fall, you are right there to pick me up and give me what I need to keep going. Thank you for being my source of encouragement and strength in the midst of it all. I love you Lord, In Jesus Name Amen.
