The Lord Holds You

When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up. Psalm 94:18

Each of us have experienced a time in our lives when everything was going well. It seemed like we were finally on the right path and things were looking up, then all of a sudden, things took a turn. There are times in life when we slip and fall, and in the falling we may get hurt or at least be embarrassed if others see us fall. In our spiritual walk there are occasions when we slip as well, it is then we need to make sure we do not fall and that is when The Lord by His mercy holds us up. The Scripture reminds us that when we thought we were going to slip, God's mercy held us up. I encourage you today as you are going through life to remember there are going to be times when you may slip, but remember The Lord is there to hold you up. When you have God's mercy operating in your life, you may slip, but God will not let you fall. You may get off track a little, but God is there to hold you up. There may even be times when you want to give up and throw in the towel and that is when The Lord is there to hold you up. Yes, life gets rough sometimes, but The Lord is there for you by His mercy to hold you when you are about to fall. There have been some slips and near falls in my life, but I am so thankful that every time I slipped, the mercy of The Lord was there to hold me up. When I could not stand for myself, The Lord by His mercy holds me. Since I know the Lord is holding me up, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for holding me up when I cannot stand by myself. Thank you for catching me every time I slipped. I am grateful that you have not let me fall too far and have placed me back on the path that you. have for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
