By His Spirit

“Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6 (ESV)

There are some things that we may be able to do in our own strength without any help from anyone, but there are more things that we do that we will need help even if we don’t acknowledge that we need help. There is nothing that we do from day to day that we do not need the help of The Lord. It is because of the help that we have from The Lord that we are able to make it through and over the things that we face every day. The Scripture reminds us of the Word of The Lord that came to Zerubbabel, not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of host. I encourage you today to remember that God is doing great things in your life, and it will not be by your power or your might that it will get done. There are going to be some doors that God is going to open for you, but it will not be by your power or your might, it will be by His Spirit that doors will be opened and ways made for you. God doesn’t need your help to bless you, so save your strength and allow God to work all things out for your good. I know I don’t have sufficient power or might to handle the things that are before me, but I know that God can handle them all, and it will be by His Spirit that all things will work out for my good and His glory. Since I am not relying on my power or strength to get anything done, but I am resting His Spirt, I know for sure, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord it is not by my power or my strength that anything will happen for me. I am relying on your Spirit to lead, guide, and work every miracle out for me. Thank you Lord for your Spirt that is always with me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
