He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:4

We have all seen the little child who will cling to their parent and not let go no matter what. They will follow their parent wherever they go, not wanting their parent to be out of their sight. They do this because they trust their parents will keep them safe from everything and everyone. In the same way we who are the children of God should cling to Him and never want to let go. We should never want to allow God to get too far from us. The Scripture reminds us that the Lord shall cover us with His feathers, and under His wings we shall trust: and His truth shall be our shield and strength. I encourage you today to allow The Lord to cover you with His feathers and trust that He will hide you under His wing. Just as a mother bird is protective over her babies, The Lord is protective over you. The Lord will cover you no matter what it is you are going through. When things get rough and you do not know how to handle them, allow The Lord to cover you with His feathers, and shield you from all hurt harm and danger. When storms of life come your way do not fret and do not fear, but find your safety under the wings of The Lord. When your enemy comes against you, remember you can trust The Lord to shield you from every trick the enemy may try in your life. Put all your trust in The Lord knowing He will bring you out, and pick you up, and turn your whole life around. I find safety under the feathers of The Lord, and I know once I am under His wing, I trust and believe that everything will be alright. This is why I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for hiding me under your wings. Thank you for covering me every day of my life. Thank you for walking with me through the valley and the rough patches of life. Thank you for being my God. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
