It’s Time To Work

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. John 9:4

Each of us no matter if we are employed or unemployed, in school or not in school, have a job to do. It may be washing dishes or taking out the trash or finding cures for diseases, but we all have a job to do. As Christians we too have a spiritual job we must do. The Scripture reminds us that Jesus said that He must work the works of Him that sent Him while it was day for night comes when no man can work. I encourage you today to do the things The Lord has asked you to do, while you can. There are only a certain number of hours of daylight, and there is much to do before night comes. You must work the works of Him that sent you while you are in the daylight hours. It may seem difficult right now, but keep trusting The Lord to give you the strength and everything else you need to get the job done. When night comes all your work will have to cease, and what has been accomplished will be what you will have to live with, for there will be no more working once the night falls on your life. The Lord has been and is good to you and He will give you what you need to accomplish what you need to accomplish only if you will let Him guide you in the work He has given to your hand. The Lord will never give you an assignment He didn't equip you to accomplish. I am going to work the works of Him that sent me while I am in the daylight hours. Since I am working while its day, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for calling me and trusting me with my assignment. Help me to work while it is day and accomplish all that you have called me to do for your Kingdom. I love you lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
