Overcome It With Good

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21

Life can be overwhelming at times. There are many different things that come at us all at the same time. We all have experienced the feeling of one thing right after another, and there is no way out. There are evil things that come against us, and we all have experienced mean and evil people. When they attack us, our first inclination is to retaliate. However, the Scripture reminds us we overcome evil, with good. I encourage you today to remember you do not have to act like someone else because they have done something to you. You do not have to get them because they got you, let The Lord work it out for you. You can overcome every negative thing they try to do to you with good. Do not let them dictate to you who you are or how you will react. They can be mean and nasty, but that does not have to be your response to them, you still allow the love and the light of The Lord to shine through in your life. When you do not allow people to know they have gotten to you, they will leave you alone. It is not easy to treat people good, who do not treat you good, but when you do the outcome for you is so much better with The Lord. People can be evil in the things they do, but I will overcome all the evil they do with good. Since I am determined to overcome evil with good, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, help me to share and spread your love in every situation I face. Let me be an example of your light and love to all who you allow me to come in contact with daily. Thank you for loving me in all I do and keeping me through it all. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
