Thanking God For Everything

“Surely the righteous shall give thanks to your name; the upright shall dwell in your presence.” Psalm 140:13 (ESV)

It should never be difficult to find reasons to give God thanks and praise. When we realize what we have done over the course of our lives, and despite all that God has made ways for us, we should be thankful. When calculate the times The Lord picked us up and turned us around, we will discover that God has been better to us, than we have been to Him. The Scripture reminds us that, surely the righteous shall give thanks to your name; the upright shall swell in your presence. I encourage you today to give thanks to God for all the great things He has done in your life. Thank Him because He is your God, and you are His child. Thank Him for keeping you in your right mind in the craziest of moments. Thank Him for the things you do not even know He has done for you. When you thank and praise Him for who He is, then you will have an intense desire to dwell in His presence. When you are in the presence of Almighty God, you will find joy, peace, and love. When you dwell in the presence of God you will feel His power and be empowered to do what was previously impossible, knowing God is on your side. I thank God and praise Him because He is my God, and I find everything I need dwelling in His presence. Since I am thankful to God and I am in His presences, I know without a doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, I have so much to thank and praise you for. You have been everything to me and have opened so many doors for me, and I know that I would not be where I am today if it had not been for you. I long to be in your presence every day and to bask in your glory and to give you thanks and praise for all you have done for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
