Call On The Lord
June 29, 2025
Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. Psalm 107:6
Each of us has seen someone pulled over on the side of the road with their hood up or on their phone trying to call for help with because of car trouble. This is not a good feeling when we are going down the street then all a sudden the unexpected happens. Some will call Triple A to come and help them with their issue or someone they think could come and help them. When someone is stuck on the side of road, they do not just sit there hoping help will come. As we go down the road of life there are going to be times when we find ourselves in trouble. Everything can be going well then out of nowhere we experience trouble. Who do we call when trouble comes our way? The Scripture reminds us that, we can call on The Lord in our trouble, and He will deliver us out of our distresses. I encourage you today to call on The Lord when trouble arises. Call on The Lord when things are going well in your life and call on The Lord when you do not know how you are going to make it. There is not a time in your life when you cannot call on the name of The Lord, and He will not be there for you. When you feel like you are stranded on the road of life, you may call on people who cannot or will not be there for you but always remember that The Lord will always be there for you. The Lord will deliver you out of your distresses if you when you call on Him. Just like when you call Triple A, and you believe they will come to help you, you can call on The Lord in faith and know that He will show up and work it out for you. I am thankful that when trouble arises in my life, I know I can call on The Lord and He will come and see about me and deliver me out of all my distresses. Since I have faith that when I call on The Lord He will be there for me, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for always being there for me when I call. There is not a day or night that you are not there for me, and you deliver me out of all my distress, and I am grateful. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
