God Is Great

“For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God.” Psalm 86:10 (ESV)

We ascribe greatness to many things and to many people. We see a great play in sports or someone we know who is doing tremendous things, we label them as great. When we weigh the greatness of a sports play or a tangible item against the goodness and greatness of God there is no comparison. God’s greatness cannot be measured, because everything He does is great, and He alone is great. As we look at our lives and where we are now, we can see how great God has been to us and the great things He has done in our lives. The Scripture reminds us, for you are great and od wonderous things; you alone are God. I encourage you today to give thanks and praise to God for the great and wonderous things He has done in your life. Give God the praise for being there for you when all the chips were down, and He did great things for you. Give God the praise and thanks for the wonderous things that He has done in your life, because you know that there are some things that you would not have made it through if it had not been for the wonderous works of God operating on your behalf. Let today be a day for thanks and praise to a great and wonderful God who does great and wonderous things in your life. I can never thank and praise God enough for all the things He has done for me, and I know that I would not be where I am today if it was not for His wonderous working in my life. Since I know that God is great and wonderful, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for all the great and wonderful things you have done and are doing in my life. I praise you for being my God and being so great to me. I cannot thank you and praise you enough for how you have blessed my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
