Nevertheless

“Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress, when he heard their cry.” Psalm 106:44 (ESV)

None of us is perfect and we will have our share of mistakes and fumbles along the road of life. We will drop the ball and make wrong turns on the road of life. There are going to be times when we make the wrong decisions, and we have to navigate our way through those decisions that we make. Since none of us is perfect every day we sin and fall short of those things that The Lord has called us to do and be. Despite our mistakes and the sin we committed daily, there is no doubt that The Lord still loves us and hears us when we pray. The Scripture reminds us that the children of Israel repeatedly sinned and went the opposite way that God called them to go, but nevertheless, he looked upon their distress, when he heard their cry. I encourage you today to never stop calling on The Lord. When things are well, nevertheless call on Him. When you are in despair, nevertheless call on Him. When you make the wrong turns in life and don’t know what to do, nevertheless call on Him and remember that He has promised to always be with you and to hear you when you cry. I certainly have made my share of bad decisions and wrong turns in life, but I am grateful that nevertheless The Lord heard me when I cried and He hears and answers me even now. Since I know that The Lord will answer me when I call, I have no doubt, “It’s my Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for hearing me when I call out of my distress. Thank you for turning me around when I make the wrong turns in life. Thank you for never leaving me, but always there to hear me and answer me. Thank you that nevertheless you are always near and hear me when I cry. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
