My Only Hope
June 20, 2025
“And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.” Psalm 39:7 (NLT)
We don’t have to be people who watch the news all the time to see tha there are some challenging things happening in the world and in our communities. Every day it seems to be something else that is happening that is not good news. With all the despairing things happening around us it is easy to give up and want to lose hope in things and people, but we who are believers should never lose hope because we always have God with us. The Scripture reminds us, and so Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you. I encourage you today to put your hope in God. It is difficult with one thing happening right after another thing, but do not let things discourage you, continue to put your hope in God. When God is your lonely hope you will discover that your outlook gets brighter and your vison gets better because you know that God is with you. When things are falling around me, I will remind myself to continue to put all my hope in God because He is my only hope. Since all my hope is in God, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord, all my hope is in you. There is no other thing or person I can put my hope in. You have never failed me and you have never left me, and I know that all my hope is in the right place, because I know you love me, and you are my only hope. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
