Peace In The Strom

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. Matthew 8:26

Undoubtedly there have been times when we were afraid of something. When we were children, we may have been afraid of the dark, bugs or some other things. Now that we are adults, we may be afraid to make commitments, be alone, make changes in our lives, or a host of other things. There are some things we go through in life and we are afraid because we do not know how they are going to turn out. It is in these times we must look to The Lord for direction in our lives. The Scripture reminds us of the disciples who were caught in a storm, but Jesus was on the boat with them, and yet they were still afraid. Jesus asked them why they had so little faith, and then He calmed the storm. I encourage you today to remember no matter what you may be going through in life, Jesus is there with you. Since Jesus is with you, you do not have to be afraid or doubt, because Jesus will always see you through. There has not been a time in your life when He was not there for you, and there will not be a time when He will not step out in the midst of your storm and speak peace to your storm. Do not doubt, have faith and know whatever you go through, Jesus is right there for you, keeping you through it all. Trials will come and storms will blow, but as long as I have Jesus with me, I know I will make it. The winds may be blowing and storms may be on the horizon, but I have faith and I know Jesus is with me and that is why I can declare with boldness, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for being with me even in the storms of life. Thank you for speaking peace to my storms and calming the winds that blow against me. Thank you Lord for being my peace and calm. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
