From Outcast To Blessed
August 19, 2025
“For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the LORD, because they have called you an outcast: It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’ Jeremiah 30:17 (ESV)
None of us like the feeling of being or feeling sick. When we are ill, we are miserable, weak, and irritable. Not only do we go through physical sickness, we can also suffer from spiritual sickness, and we can feel the exact same way. We become lethargic in our worship and praise, and we do not feel like serving God or singing or praising His Holy name. Just as when we are physically sick, we become more vulnerable to attacks by germs, when we are spiritually sick, we are more vulnerable to attacks of the enemy. The Scripture reminds us, if we remain faithful The Lord will restore health unto us, and heal every wound, and be with us because we have been called an outcast. I encourage you today to remember The Lord is a healer. The Lord will restore health to you, both physically and spiritually. It is important you check on your physical health, but you must also check on your spiritual health. Trust The Lord to be with you in all situations and know He will restore your health and heal every wound you have. People will wound you, but you can be thankful you have a God who will heal you. People will put you down and call you everything but a child of God, but The Lord will lift you up. People will do all types of things to hurt, harm, and bruise you, but you must remember The Lord is there with you through it all. People may call you this, that or even the other thing, but you must remember The Lord has called you blessed. I thank God He is a restorer, and He is restoring my health and healing my wounds. Although some may have called me an outcast The Lord has called me blessed, and since I am blessed by the Best I can confidently proclaim, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for healing me both physically and spiritually. Thank you for healing every wound that the enemy has caused to me, and thank you for loving me when I was called an outcast. Thank you for not allowing me stay an outcast because now I am called your child. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
