Through It All

“But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.” Job 2:10 (ESV)

We think as a Christian that only good things should happen to us. As long as the sun is shining on our side of the street, everything is good. As soon as a little rain begins to fall, and things begin to get a little cloudy in our lives we feel like The Lord has abandoned us. Job went through some things in his life and his wife thought that The Lord had finally given up on them, but Job corrected her and reminded her that we cannot only expect good from the hand of God, but sometimes bad things will happen as well. I encourage you today to remember just because it begins to rain in your life, it does not mean The Lord has left you. The Lord is always on your side, and He is always there looking out for you, and He will keep you through the rain and the winds of life. There are going to be times when you will go through some things, and they will not be good, and it is going to feel like The Lord has left you out there by yourself, but remember, The Lord is always right by your side. Come what will come what may I will never give up on The Lord, because no matter what I have done or what I go through, He has never and will never give up on me. This is why I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for always being by my side. Thank you for keeping me and blessing me. When the rain falls and I know it will fall, I will remember that you are right there with me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
