The Lifter Of Your Head

“And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the LORD.” Psalm 27:6 (ESV)

Each of us has had one of those days when we were just down. No one did anything to us, no one said anything to us, we were just down and could not really put our finger on why we were so down. We have also had those days when we were down because of what our enemies did to us, and we do not know what to do about it. It is in those days that we try to find something to pick us up and cheer us up, and no matter what we try, we just cannot get the necessary pep in our step to change our mood. It is in those days and times that we should turn to The Lord and allow Him to pick us up and encourage us. The Scripture reminds us that, now our heads shall be lifted up above our enemies all around us, and we will offer in His tabernacle the shouts of joy, and sing and make melody to the Lord. I encourage you today to allow The Lord to lift your head above all that you are facing or going through. You do not have to be down because of what you may be facing in life, let The Lord lift your head and your spirit. Do not allow people to get you so down that you cannot lift your head up, and walk with your head held high, let The Lord lift your head up above your enemies. When The Lord lifts you up, sing His praises wherever you may go. Sing praises to The Lord on your good and your bad days. Sing praises to The Lord when you are going through, for you have the faith to know that no matter how it looks right now He will lift you up. Praise The Lord through every trial and situation you face in life, and you will be blessed by the great things The Lord has in store for you. I am grateful The Lord continues to lift my head up above my enemies, and I will continue to praise Him and sing His praises all the days of my life. Since I know it is The Lord that lifts me up, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, today and for the rest of my life, I will sing and praise your name for the great and wonderful things you have done and are doing in my life. In my good and bad days I will sing and praise you for you are worthy of all my praise. Thank you Lord for being the lifter of my head in every situation I face in my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
