Kind And Forgiving
September 13, 2025
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32
There is no doubt that The Lord has been good to each of us. He has been there for us when others have let us down. He has picked us up when others have been the ones to push us down. The Lord has been kind to us and loving to us all our lives. Even when we did not realize how good He was to us, we soon found out He has been good to us all the time. There are times however, when people are not kind, loving or forgiving, and there are also times when we are not that way either. We all have held grudges, and we all have messed up and was in the need of forgiveness. The Scripture reminds us we should be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another just as God for Christ sake has forgiven us. I encourage you today to be kind to those who may not be kind to you. Have compassion on someone who may not have acted their best in your case. Forgive, because there was a time and there will be more times when you need to go to The Lord and ask Him to forgive you. You are going to have to go to The Lord and need His kindness, and you do not want Him to point out how you have been to others and not grant you kindness and forgiveness you seek from Him. People may not treat you right, and they may have not compassion on you, but you have to know for yourselves that The Lord was the same way to you. Do not hold grudges and the past of someone against them, but learn the true meaning of forgiveness, just as God has wiped your slate clean, wipe someone's slate clean today, and you will feel better, and God will be pleased with you. I will be kind and compassionate, and forgiving, and if I have offended anyone, I pray I am forgiven as well. Since I am passing on what God has done in my life to others, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for always forgiving me. Today once again Lord I need your forgiveness. Forgive me of everything I have done that is not pleasing to you. Help me to forgive others as well. Thank you for loving me so much that you will forgive me always. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
