Wisdom Is Better

How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! Proverbs 16:16

There are some people who will spend their entire lives trying to obtain things. They will do all they can to make sure that they have the tangible things in life that they think the need to be happy. They have to be the first to obtain a new phone, so they can keep up with new trends. There is nothing wrong with wanting to have nice things and wanting to keep up with the trends of the time, but if we do it at the cost of our wisdom, we gain nothing but a fad that will soon be obsolete. The Scripture reminds us that, it is much better to get wisdom than gold and understanding to be chosen rather than silver. I encourage you today in all your getting and in all your obtaining make sure you get wisdom and understanding from God. When you go on your search for true wisdom and understanding you will find that it will lead you right back to The Lord. It is only from The Lord that you can truly find and obtain wisdom and understanding, but once you have it, you will discover that it is better than all the things that you have acquired. People can try to take your things from you, but no one can take your wisdom and understanding because that comes from The Lord. I rather have wisdom and understanding from The Lord than all the silver and gold in the world, because wisdom and understanding are priceless. Since I will continue to seek The Lord for His wisdom and understanding, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, I need your wisdom every day to lead and guide me in the paths that you have for me. Thank you for every blessing you have given to me, and I need your wisdom to continue to fill me and direct me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
