Keep Doing Good

“Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil.” Romans 14:16 (NIV)

There are times in all our lives when we have done something from the bottom or our hearts and with all good intentions, and there was some who did all they could to turn what we did around as something awful. When this happens, it is easy not to want to do anything for anyone at all, and it can harden our hearts towards people. It would be one thing if it was those who did not know God who tried to turn the tables, but when it is the people of God that is hurtful, and we want to turn away from God, but we cannot let the actions or words of people keep us from doing the right things in God. The Scripture reminds us, therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. I encourage you today to continue to do the right things, even when others cannot receive it, because God knows your heart. Keep serving God even when there are those who are doing all they can to discourage you form doing what God has called you to do. Keep worshiping God even when they talk about you and ridicule you. Do not let what you know is good be evil spoken of because when you do what you know is right in your heart and with God, He will work it all out in your favor and for His glory. No matter what anyone says or thinks I will continue to lift the name of The Lord and serve Him in all that I do. Since I refuse to let my good be evil spoken of, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for all you allow me to do. Lord, you know my heart and my intentions. Help me not to allow what is good and from you to be spoken of as evil. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
