Do It For The Lord

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,” Colossians 3:23 (ESV)

Each of us has done something for someone who was very appreciative of what we did for them. Then there were some who we did some things for who never even said thank you and acted like it was our obligation to do it for them. When we do things for people and they do not appreciate it, that should not deter us from being a blessing. There are some things we should do simply because The Lord is leading us to do it. We must do what The Lord instructs us to do regardless of what people do or how they respond to us. The Scripture reminds us that whatsoever we do, do heartily, as to the Lord not for men. I encourage you today that whatever you do, do it for The Lord. People will not always be grateful for what you do for them, they may not always say thank you for what you do, but what you do is not for them it is for The Lord. People really do not have anything to give you when you bless them, your blessings come from The Lord, and you should always do things for The Lord and not for people. When you do things for The Lord you will give your best and people will be blessed by your best for The Lord. Never allow someone with a bad disposition to stop you from doing what The Lord has called you to do, but even with a bad disposition if The Lord has asked you to do something for them do it as you were doing it for The Lord. Whatever I do, I do it as I am doing it for The Lord not to please people, but to bring glory to God and Him alone. Since I am doing it all for The Lord, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Thank you Lord for every blessing you have given to me. Thank you for using me to be a blessing to others, and whatever I do, I am doing it for you, so you can get all the glory out of my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
