“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” Matthew 6:30
For all of our lives The Lord has taken care of us, and has been there for us when we realized it and even in those times when we have not realized it. There has not been one need that we have had that The Lord has not provided for. He has been our friend and confidant when we needed Him t, and doors have been opened for us that we know that The Lord was the one who opened that door.
Have An Encounter With God
"And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed." Genesis 32:28
We all have done things in our lives that we are not proud of. Some of the things we have done we carry with us everyday of our lives. There are some things that are difficult to let go of, and no matter how many times we try to let it go we will never forget what we did or what happened to us. We can decide to let our past have power over us, to the point we feel like we will never be able to move on past our past.
God Will Exalt You
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” 1 Peter 5:6
Each of us has experienced a time when we saw others doing well while we were struggling. We were trying to do everything the right way, and even in then we were still not reaching the places that we thought that we should have been. It is difficult to see others doing well, who may not be doing the right things, while we continue to have to fight and scratch for everything we do.
Newness Of Life
“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4 (ESV)
Being a Christian does not abrogate us from the struggles of life. Our salvation does not guarantee us a life without stress but it does give us an assurance that we do not go through it alone. There are going to be struggles on our Christian journey, and some of them will be more difficult than others, but we should always recognize that Christ is our example that when we struggle, we will also succeed.
