Peace In The Midst of a Storm

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7

Storms in life come and go. We cannot always tell when a storm is about to come in our lives they seemingly come out of nowhere. It would be so much better if we had advanced warnings when these storms were on their way, so we could be prepared for them. There are ups and downs in life and there are times when we don't see the trials and tribulations coming, then suddenly and quickly they hit us.

Restored Joy

“Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” Psalm 51:12

Stand In The Gap

"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none." Ezekiel 22:30

So many times when we are in prayer we can ask God for all the things that we need Him to do in our personal lives. We pray thanking God for all of the great things He has given to us as we should and continue to pray and thank God for. We also know people who are in the need of prayer. We all have somebody who doesn't know what salvation is all about.

Love One Another

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” 1 John 4:11 (ESV)

Take time and think about some of the things that we may not have done right in this life, and things that we may not be proud of that we did. As we think about those things, we should also think about how much The Lord loves us in spite of those things that we have done that were not right, but The Lord loved us anyway.

Keep The Faith

“So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.” Galatians 3:9 (ESV)

Our faith is the foundation of who we are in Christ. We have faith in Christ knowing that He will always be there to keep and to bless us. It is difficult at times to keep the faith when we are faced with tragedies and hurdles that we are faced with, but even in the midst of those we still must have faith.

We should all be excited today about going to Church. As we enter into the Sanctuary it is our opportunity to give praise and honor to Almighty God for the great things He has done in our lives. Rather we realize it or not The Lord has done and is doing great things.

Look Ahead

Life is a journey, and it can be a wonderful journey at times, and then there are times when the journey is not so great. We all hit snags in life, and life has ups, downs, ins and outs and all kinds of curves.
