As we take a moment and look back over our lives each of us has so much to be thankful for. The Lord has been good to us and has brought us through many things that we could not get through on our own. People may have walked out of our lives, but The Lord has been right there with us. Even when we made mistakes and had fallen The Lord was right there to pick us up and dust us off and give us the strength to get back up again. Not only has The Lord given us His love, but He has also poured out His grace and mercy on us. Each of us has so much to be thankful for even if things are not working out the way we thought they should work out; we still have so much to thank The Lord for. The Scripture reminds us to, give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good; for his mercy endures forever. I encourage you to let today be a day of thanksgiving for all of the great things The Lord has done and is doing in your life. Take some time to look where The Lord has brought you from, and when you do you will be amazed at His goodness towards you. Look what The Lord has brought you out of, just so He could bring you to where you are today. The Lord has kept you when you needed to be kept and blessed you when you needed blessings in your life. Give thanks to The Lord today not because everything is going well for you but give thanks to The Lord because He is good. No matter what your situation looks like right now there is no denying that The Lord is good. Thank The Lord because His mercy endures forever and ever. His mercy never fades it never gets old, it is never not enough, but it is always more than enough. You would not be able to make it day by day without His mercy working in your life, and if you have nothing else to be thankful for, be thankful that His mercy endures forever. No matter what is going on in my life, for the rest of my life I will give thanks to The Lord every day because He is good, and His mercy endures forever in my life. Since I will always thank The Lord no matter what I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Thank you Lord for all that you have done for me! In Jesus Name Amen.
