Time To Grow Up
There comes a time in all of our lives that we had to realize that it was time for us to simply grow up. We were making decisions that were not in our best interest and still acting like we were teenagers. When life hits us we did not have time to be childlike in our approach we had to make the mature decisions for our direction and path in life. There also comes a time in our spiritual walk that we also must choose to grow up, and become the mature Christians that we were called to be. The Scripture reminds us to, flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. I encourage you today to flee those youthful passions that you once had. Let today be the day that you begin to pursue those things that are going to help draw you closer to The Lord. Let today be the day that you pursue a deeper relationship with God. Let today be the day that you strengthen your faith in the Master, and make your goal to love more and to have peace in all situations you face. It is not easy to change directions, but there comes a time when we all must make that decision to change directions and mature into the people that God has created and called us to be. I am so glad that I made a decision to grow in Christ, and I will continue to pursue righteousness, love, and peace in The Lord. Since I am pursuing after the great things of God for my life I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord set my face in the direction that you have for my life. Let me pursue only those things that will draw me closer to you, and that you have designed for my life. In Jesus Name Amen.
