Many of us like getting new things, it does not necessarily have to be brand new, but if it is new to us it is still new. When we get a new car we want everyone to see our new car, when we get a new house, we invite people over for house warming gatherings so they can see our new house. We like when people notice our new outfits and new things that we have, for we work hard for those new things that we have. However, it becomes difficult to show off the new you, because many times we resist the new things that God is trying to do in our lives. We want everything around us to be new, but us. The Scripture reminds us that, God is doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I encourage you today not to resist, but to notice the new thing that God wants to do in your life. Change is not easy, but change is necessary and it should be a blessing for you to be able to see and to show the new things that God is doing in your life. You cannot continue to ask God for great blessings and not expect some change to happen in your life. God is doing a new thing, and you should want to be a part of the new thing that God is doing, it is going to spring forth, it is going to come to pass with or without you, so it is better to be ready for the change that God is ushering in, because if not you will miss your blessing. I am so grateful for the new things that God is doing in my life, and all of the changes that He is sending my way. I may not understand them all, but I do know they are all for my good. Since I am celebrating the new thing that God is doing in me and for me I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Thank you Lord for all of the new and exciting things you are doing in my life. Continue to prepare me for those ne things. In Jesus Name Amen.
