Stay In His Presence
Being in the presence of certain people can bring us joy and laughter as we enjoy their company. There are other people who we would prefer not to be in their presence at all because we know that it will not be a joyful experience. There should be no doubt for any of us that there is always joy when we are in the presence of The Lord. When we are in His presence there is a sense of security, and no matter what we are going through we know that everything is going to be all right. None of us would want to even imagine not being in the presence of The Lord. The Scripture reminds us of the prayer of David when he asked God, cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. I encourage you today to press your way into the presence of The Lord. It is in His presence that you will find joy, peace, love, and security. David knew he had messed up and was praying forgiveness and that nothing would be able to take him away from the presence of The Lord, because David knew He could not make it without The Lord’s presence in his life. None of us can make it without the presence of The Lord in our lives. As you pray today ask The Lord not to cast you away, or to take His Holy Spirit from you, so you can bask in his presence. I know that I have messed up, but I also know that I need to be in the presence of The Lord, and I will do all that I can do to be in His presence. Since I am pressing my way to be in His presence always I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord forgive me of all of my sins, and do not cast me away from your presence, because I know I cannot make it without your presence in my life. Please do not take your Holy Spirit from me because I need Him to lead and guide me through this journey of life. In Jesus Name Amen.
