It can be disheartening when we do something for someone who has begged us to help them, and after we help them they act like they do not know us. There are some people who will talk to us only when they need something from us, and if they do not need anything from us they do not have time for us. We can go out of our way and spend countless hours helping someone out, and when we need them to do something for us, they are seemingly too busy. When this happens we can become angry and not want to have anything to do with them anymore, because we feel like they have been selfish. The same way we feel when people forget how we helped them out and act like they do not know us, is the same way The Lord feels when we forget about Him after all He has done for us. The Scripture reminds us to, beware unless we forget the Lord, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. I encourage you today to never forget The Lord and all that He has done for you. The Lord has been excellent to you and has brought you from a mighty long way. Do not forget The Lord, for if it had not been for The Lord, you would still be down and out but The Lord pick you up and turned you around. It was The Lord that was there for you when no one else would answer their phone. It was The Lord who made a way for you, and opened that door for you right on time. You may forget people, but do not ever forget The Lord who has done so much for you. If you take the time to look back over your life you will see that The Lord has blessed you greatly. Each day you should give The Lord thanks and praise for where He has brought you from, and where He is bringing you. People may not appreciate what you have done for them, but you should always appreciate what The Lord has done for you. I am thankful for all The Lord has done for me, and I will never ever forget The Lord who has brought me out more times than I care to count. Since I will not forget The Lord, and He will never forget me I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Lord I will never forget how great you have been to me, and all the ways that you have made for me. Thank you for being so good to me. In Jesus Name Amen.
