Prayer changes things; prayer turns the most impossible of situations around. Prayer is the key that unlocks more doors than one could imagine. Prayer is a tool that is so rarely used in our lives today, that could see us through difficult situations. If you ever looked at an infomercial they claim one knife will cut everything and last a lifetime. One pot can cook anything in less time than before, and these claims are not always true, but prayer is the key that can use to unlock any closed door. Jabez prayed and he didn't use fancy words, he didn't make his prayer difficult. Jabez simply told God what he wanted. I encourage you today to look in your spiritual toolbox and use the tool that will get you through the day, and that is prayer. You don't have to have a lot of fancy words just talk to God and tell Him what you need and tell Him what you want. Jabez asked God to bless him, to enlarge his territory, keep His hand on him, and to keep him from evil. Simple prayer can do wonders just imagine if you would ask God what Jabez did? I know you might say that you need more than what Jabez did, but just think, if God would bless you, expand your territory, and keep His hand on you and keep you from evil, that would be more than enough for you to make it through whatever situation or circumstance you may be going through. God granted Jabez his request, and when you sincerely talk to God, and tell Him what you want no matter how simplistic, God will grant your request. When I know the words to pray, and even when I do not know the words to pray, I will pray and asked God to bless and keep me in all situations. Since I will use the key that opens all doors I am sure, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord bless me indeed, enlarge my territory, keep your hand on me, be with me, and keep me from evil every day. In Jesus Name Amen.
