A Hiding Place
What do we do when trouble comes? It is easy to panic and try to fix things ourselves. There are times when we may not know what to do when trouble comes, but we do know that we should do something. Trouble comes many unexpectedly, it would be different if we could prepare for trouble, but trouble can come uninvited into our lives. We are children of God and He has a plan for when trouble comes our way. David reminds us that in the time of trouble, God has a hiding place for us. When trouble comes in your life even if it has surprised you, it didn't surprise God. God knew what was going to happen and He knows what will happen. I encourage you today to seek your hiding place in The Lord. He has a secret place for you; a place where trouble cannot find you and where trouble cannot go. He will set you on a rock above your troubles, worries, enemies, and, cares. The Lord will set you high above your trouble and the things you may go through. Do not try to handle everything yourself. Do not try to figure everything out for yourself. You have a God you can run to when things in life get crazy, and He will take, hide, and protect you. Most of all He will set you up, lift you up, keep you up even when you should be down. God will put you on a rock above your troubles and above the troublemakers. I trust God to hide me and shield me and protect me in all things and I know He will hide me and put me on a rock because, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Thank you Lord for hiding me in the time of trouble, and thank you for setting me up upon a rock about all of things that try to bring me down. In Jesus Name Amen.
