Count It Lost
In this life we are going to lose some things as we travel this road. Some of the things that we are going to lose may seem valuable and non-replaceable. As we serve The Lord there are going to be some things and maybe some people that we lose as well. Those things that we lose in serving The Lord may seem valuable, but we can count them as lost because what we gain in Christ is so much more valuable. The Scripture reminds us that, what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. I encourage you today not to focus on those things that you may have lost, but focus on the blessings that you have gained in Christ. As you have gained Christ in your life, you are no longer striving for the tangible things that the world will define as you being successful, but now you strive for those things that make you blessed in The Lord. You can count everything else as loss for Christ, because now you have peace, joy, love, grace, and mercy that you can only obtain from gaining Christ in your life. I thank God that I am able to count some things as lost, but I have not lost because what I have gained in Christ will last eternally. Since I have gained Christ in my life I know for sure, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord I thank you for allowing me to be your child. What I have lost does not even compare to what I have gained from being called by you. In Jesus Name Amen.
