A Made Up Mind
As we prepare for yet another Sunday Morning Worship experience let our minds begin to go back to all of the wonderful things that The Lord has done in our lives. Think of how He has kept us in the most impossible situations and in the most difficult of times. We all have a time when we can think of when we made it out of a something and we know we shouldn't have made it out, but God made a way out of no way. He continues to bless and keep us despite the things we do or say. We serve a good God. David in the Psalm reminds us that, our hearts should be fixed and we should make up our minds that no matter what to sing and give God praise. I encourage you as you prepare for Worship this morning to have a made up mind that you are not going to let anything stop you from giving God praise today. Your situation is not going to block your praise; your circumstance is not going to stop your praise. You will sing and give God all the praise you can muster today. You may have tears in your eyes, but you are going to praise God with tears in your eyes for He continues to bless you. The songwriter said, "I am coming out with my hands up” my hands are not up in surrender but in praise unto God. Sometimes in life you have to praise and sing your way out. Have the spirit of David on you today and know that no matter what you will sing and give praise to God. For when the praises go up the blessings come down. I am going to sing and praise unto The Lord today because I know that I know, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Lord thank you for allowing me to see another day, and because you woke me up this morning, my heart is fixed, and my mind made up, that I am going to sing and praise today for you are good. In Jesus Name Amen
