Let Your Light Shine

It is important to remember who we are at all times. There are times when our conduct does not resemble who we are in Christ. We can go to Church on Sunday sing, shout, and dance for all the good things God has done in our lives, then on Monday no one would ever know that we are Christians. It is essential that we allow our witness for Christ to be evident at all times. The Scripture reminds us to, let your light so shine before me, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. I encourage you to let your light shine today. The light that is in you is Jesus Christ let your light shine through you, so no matter what happens during the day the light of Christ would shine through. No matter how dark your situation gets let your light shine, not so you can be lifted up, but in order that people would be able to see your good works and give God the glory. It should never be difficult to treat people right. There are some who make it difficult to be nice to. However, when you always have the same disposition and people know you are a Christian no matter how difficult they are, you are the person they will come to in private when they have a problem in their life and will ask you to pray for them. No matter how dark the situation, no matter how dark the day may get let your light shine, you may be the only Bible somebody ever reads, and if you are the only Bible somebody reads what message would they receive? Let your light shine on your jobs, your home, school, wherever you go today let your light shine so people will see your good works, and God would be glorified. As I go throughout this day I am determined to let my light shine so God can receive all of the glory. Since I am going to let my light shine bright today I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Lord allow me to be a bright light for someone today and that you would get all of the glory out of my life. In Jesus Name Amen.
