As we celebrate Thanksgiving today with family and friends each of us has many things that we can be thankful for. Today should not be about those trivial things that may be happening around us, but just a time to pause and realize how blessed we are. Some of us will use this day to give back to others that are less fortunate than ourselves, and others will gather with family to reconnect and share the blessings that God has been doing in their lives, and others will participate in retail therapy; however we spend this day we should begin and end it with thanks to The Lord. The Scripture reminds us to, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever. I encourage you today to give thanks to The Lord for all of the great and wonderful things He has done in your life. Give thanks to The Lord today not just for food, but for all of the blessings He placed in your life. It does not make a difference what you are going through or what you have been through, you still have many reasons to give thanks to The Lord. I am thankful for all of the blessings that The Lord has placed in my life, and I am grateful for all of the ways that The Lord has made for me. On this Thanksgiving Day I can truly say that I am blessed. Since I will always give thanks to The Lord I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Thank you Lord for all that you have done for me, for family and friends I say thank you. In Jesus Name Amen.
