Listen For The Still Small Voice

In the course of our lives we go through so many things and each thing we go through we want The Lord to show up in a big way.  We find ourselves in difficult situations and want The Lord to move Heaven and earth to get us out, even in the situations we put ourselves in.  There are going to be times when The Lord does not show up in the big way we are looking for, but we can rest assure He always shows up.

The Scripture reminds us that, after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.  I encourage you today to remember that The Lord has promised never to leave you nor forsake you, and He will be there for you.  Do not just simply look for The Lord to show up in the spectacular, because sometimes He shows up as the Scripture says in a still small voice.  In order to hear the still small voice of The Lord you are going to have be still.  Sometimes when life gets hectic and things are moving so fast around you, and one thing is happening right after another it is hard to be still, but that is the right time to just be still.

When you are still you can hear from The Lord more clearly, and hear what He has for your life.  Every day find an opportunity to spend some quite time with The Lord, and listen to what He has for your life.  After Elijah heard the still small voice of The Lord he was able to do what The Lord called him to do.  Do not get caught up in the dramatics, but know that The Lord will speak to you in a still small voice if you will only listen.  I thank God that He is still speaking to me in the still small voice.  I know The Lord can show up in the big way, but I am thankful when He speaks to me quietly.

I can hear Him whispering to me so clearly even now this is why I am confident, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!". Can you hear Him whispering to you?

Thank you Lord for showing up in the spectacular, band also thank you for showing up and speaking in the still small voice that leads, guides, and comforts me.  In Jesus Name Amen.
