The Lord Will Do It Again
The Children of Israel were being treated harshly by the Egyptians and bound in slavery. The Children of Israel were chosen by God to be His children, and He was their God. When they got into trouble they called on the name of The Lord, and The Lord was there for them. When things were going well for them they did not seek The Lord like they did when trouble had arisen in their lives. The Lord had to constantly remind them what He had done for them before, so when they looked at their current situation they would have no doubt that The Lord would be able to bring them out again.
Joshua in this Scripture reminds them, I brought your fathers out of Egypt: and you came unto the sea: and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto the Red sea. I encourage you today to take some time and look back over your life and think of some of the times when The Lord has brought you out. Then look at what you may be going through right now and remember if He brought you out before He will surely bring you out this time. If things are going well for you in your situation do not forget to thank The Lord for all He is doing in your life. When things get rough do not have a pity party but look back to the time when The Lord brought you out of your Egypt, and how He made a way for you and know He will do it again and again.
I thank The Lord for bringing me out, and leading me through my wilderness experiences, and for making ways out of no way for me, and because I know He is still making ways for me, I am extremely secure in knowing, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
For every way you have made and for every door you have opened for me I say thank you Lord, and I will use those experiences as a foundation to remember that you will and can do it again for me. In Jesus Name Amen.
