Worship Him

"The Lord has been good to us” is a phrase that we have each heard on many occasions, but if we truly realize the depth of this statement we would come to the conclusion that it is only a partial picture of the totality of how good God has been to us.  The truth of the matter is not only has The Lord been good to us, The Lord is good to us.  He continues to bless us and continues to keep us no matter what is going on in our life.  Because of The Lord's goodness, mercy, and grace as His people we should give Him the glory that He is due.   Look back over your life and recall some of the times when The Lord has made a way out of no way for you. Recall some of the times when He picked you up and turned you around.  Remember the day He saved your soul and made you whole, and when you remember these times give Him glory.

Look to the past week and see the goodness of The Lord and you will not be able to help yourself, but you will give God the glory due to His name.  Not only should we give Him glory, but we should also worship Him for He is worthy of our worship.  This Scripture reminds us to, give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring and offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.  I encourage you today to worship The Lord with all of your mind and heart, and have a determination to give God the glory, and forget about yourself and your situation and worship Him in the beauty of holiness. Holiness means to be set apart to worship Him and Him alone.  The Lord is good to me, and I will give Him the glory because I know it was Him who brought me out. I have made up my mind that today I will worship Him in the beauty of holiness, and praise His name.

Since I will give Him glory and worship Him I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Thank you Lord for all that you have done for me, and I will continue to worship you in the beauty of your holiness.  In Jesus Name Amen.
