As we go through challenges in life the concept of peace is something may seem like it is difficult to obtain. Each time we find ourselves close to peace it seems that a storm will begin to arise in our lives, and peace once again slips away from us. Peace by definition is the freedom from disturbances, and many times we cannot obtain peace because of all of the disturbances that arise in our lives, and when peace becomes elusive we try to create it on our own to no avail. True peace will only be found when we seek it from The Lord.
The Scripture reminds us that, The Lord will ordain peace for us, for He has indeed done for us all our works. I encourage you today to seek for true peace in The Lord. There are times when storms will rage in your life, but find your peace in The Lord. There are going to be times when constant disturbances will be all around you, but you can find your true peace in The Lord. The Lord has promised you that He would ordain peace in your life and when He ordains peace for you, the storms have to cease, the billows have to stop raging, the enemy has to halt his attack, and everything that was trying to come against you will have to change course, because The Lord has ordained peace for you.
The Lord has not only ordained peace for you, but He has also done great things for you as well, all the work of your hands is done because The Lord did it. You will have trials and tribulations come your way, and you will have some good days and some bad days, but through them all remember that The Lord has ordained peace in your life, and although you may be in the storm The Lord will give you peace to make it through the storm. I am grateful for the peace that The Lord has ordained for and in my life, and no matter what comes my way, as long as I have His peace I can make it through it all.
Since I know my true peace comes from The Lord I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Thank you Lord for the peace you have ordained for my life, and thank you for all of the wonderful things that you have done and are doing in my life. When the storms of life rage I will remember all of the wonderful things you have done, and I will seek your peace. In Jesus Name Amen.
