Trusting in The Lord is a faith walk that requires us to have faith every step of the way. When we look around and see people who do not serve The Lord getting ahead, and seeing those who put The Lord on a shelf and take Him down when they need Him, seemingly prospering at every hand, it becomes difficult to keep the faith. As we look at others prospering who may not be doing the right thing, and we who are trying to do the right thing, are struggling it makes us want to throw up our hands and walk away, and do what others are doing, because for whatever reason it is working for them. Before we give up and throw in the towel and run to the other side, we must take a moment and shift our focus off of them, and onto what The Lord is doing in our lives. When we shift our focus we will quickly see that The Lord is blessing us greatly.
The Scripture reminds us to, be still before The Lord and wait patiently for Him; fret not ourselves over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices. I encourage you today to keep your focus on what The Lord is doing in your life. Do not become so impatient that you cannot be still and wait on The Lord to come through for you. Wait patiently for Him, and do not focus on what someone else is or is not doing, but remember that The Lord has promises for you, and the promises that He has made for you are sure and shall come to pass in your life. When there is chaos all around you, it is difficult to be still, but it is also necessary so The Lord can bless your life. Challenges are going to come, and things are going to look like they are falling apart around you, but through it all remember that The Lord loves you, and His promises are true, and you will have victory in your life. I am grateful that the promises of The Lord are true, and He will do what He said He would do in my life, and I will wait on Him to come through for me.
Since I am being still and waiting on The Lord I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord help my focus to be on the wonderful things you are doing in my life, and the great promises that I know are going to come to pass for me. In Jesus Name Amen.
