Don’t Stop Praying And Praising
Few things are more refreshing than spending some alone time with God in prayer. In those refreshing moments of prayer is when we can just tell God all about everything that is on our hearts and minds, and never have to worry about being judged or ridiculed. We do not have to put on any airs for God, just simply tell Him what is on our hearts. It is when we pour out our hearts before God that no matter how heavy the burden may be that we were carrying, after praying we have a sense that everything is going to work out in our favor. Just as powerful as our prayers are in private we also must remember that so are the prayers we pray in public. When we can pray to God and not do it just to be seen, but as witnesses to the power of a prayer answering God, then others will also look to God for themselves.
The Scripture reminds us that, at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. I encourage you today that no matter if you are in private or in public do not be ashamed to pray and sing praises unto God. You might be having a rough day, just pause and pray and sing praises unto God. You may be going through trails and tribulations, pray and sing praises unto God. When you can seek God in prayer, and lift your voice and sing praises unto God the things that you are worried about do not seem so heavy. When your back is up against the proverbial wall no matter who is around you, and no matter who hears you, pause, pray and sing praises to God and let Him work it out for you.
When you are not ashamed to pray and sing His praises, God is not ashamed to deliver you out of what you are going through. Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praise unto God in prison, and the prisoners heard them, and God opened the prison doors for them. The same way God delivered them through their prayers and praise, He can and will deliver you. No matter where I am or what I am facing, or who is around me, I will pray and praise God for all of the great things He continues to do in my life.
Since I know God hears me when I pray and praise and will come and see about me always I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Lord thank you for always hearing me when I pray and sing praises unto you. In Jesus Name Amen.
