The Light Of Compassion
There are going to be days when feel like nothing is going right. No matter how hard we try to make things work out something happens to derail our plans. There are also some people who we will not be able to satisfy no matter what we do or say. It is in these times we have to know we have done our best and the rest we need to put in God's hand. There are going to be some dark days that come in all of our lives, it is in those dark days that we need to look to God for direction.
The Scripture reminds us that, unto the upright there arises light in the darkness: He is gracious and full of compassion, and righteous. I encourage you today to remember no matter how dark the day or night may become you can always look to God who is light for all of your dark situations. When you are following God and the things He has laid out for your life there are going to be some rough spots when you may not understand where God is taking you. In these times just know God knows where He is taking you, and all you go through is to prepare you for the place He has for you.
God has a place prepared just for you, where others are not able to go. God is gracious to you, and He is full of compassion for the things you are going through, and the things you have been through. God is also righteous and He expects us to be righteous as well. It is important to continually check your relationship with God, because it is the most important relationship in your life. God is light for you and He will direct you through all the dark paths you may come upon in life’s journey.
I thank God He is light even when things around me are dark, and because He is full of compassion I know without a doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Lord thank you for being the Light in dark places and for always supporting me with your compassion. In Jesus Name Amen.
