Pleasing To The Lord
We never know what the day is going to hold, but what we do know is that The Lord is in control of each day. Each day we should want to do those things that The Lord has placed in our hands, and bring Him glory through our words and actions. The Psalmist prays, let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. I encourage you today to allow your prayer and desire to be that of the Psalmist. Ask The Lord today to allow the words of your mouth to be a blessing to those who He places in your path. Ask The Lord to allow those things you think about and meditate on to be acceptable and pleasing in His sight. You will not be able to please everyone, but you will be able to please The Lord when your words, actions, and thoughts line up with what He wants to do in your life. Do not allow the things that are surrounding you to steer you away from the path that The Lord has placed you on. The Lord is your strength and your redeemer and because all your strength comes from The Lord, allow the things in your mind and on your heart to be acceptable to Him, and He will give you the strength to make it through this and every day. Every day I want The Lord’s will to be done in my life, and I will continue to pray that His will be done in and through me. Since my prayer is to be acceptable and pleasing to The Lord, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart; be acceptable and pleasing in your sight, my strength, rock, and redeemer. In Jesus Name Amen.
