When we make up our minds that we are going to serve The Lord and do what He asks us to do, we should be prepared for the blessings that follow our obedience. Not only should we be prepared for the blessing, but we should also be prepared for the criticism that comes with serving The Lord. It seems like when we serve The Lord to the best of our ability there is always going to be someone who is critical of what we are doing and how we are doing it. The woman with an alabaster box full of expensive perfume, comes in the house and pours the perfume on the head of Jesus, and there were those in the house who thought that was a waste of money and resources. The Scripture reminds us that Jesus told them, leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. I encourage you today to continue to serve The Lord. When others think you are wasting your time, serve The Lord. When they criticize you for working for The Lord, keep serving and doing what The Lord has called you to do. As I serve The Lord, I always want to make sure that I am doing what He has called me to do, and when I serve Him, I know He will bless me. Since I will continue to serve The Lord no matter what, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year to Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord will continue to serve you through the noise of the crowds and the critics, I will continue to walk in your will and your way. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
