Forgive To Be Forgiven

There is not an occasion that we should not pray and ask God for the things we need and want. Also, part of our prayer life should consist of asking God to forgive us of our sins and trespasses against Him. Not only should we ask God to forgive us, we should be able to forgive others of their trespasses against us. It is easy to ask God to forgive us, but it is difficult at times to forgive others for what they have done to us. The Scripture reminds us, whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive, you your trespasses. I encourage you today that when you pray forgive. You do not need to wait for the person to ask you to forgive them, just forgive. Forgive them before they ask for forgiveness, because true forgiveness is never about them it is about you and your healing and blessings. When you can pray and forgive, God promises you, that you will also be forgiven by the Father. Do not allow the aught you may have with someone to block your forgiveness with God. Forgiving is difficult, but necessary in helping you become who God wants you to be. It is not always easy to forgive the hurt and pian that was done to me, but when I pray, I will forgive, because I need God to forgive me, more than I need to hold on to the pain. Since I will pray and forgive, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Lord help me to forgive those things and people that have hurt me. Forgive me for all my missteps, mistakes, and misses in life. Continue to give me another chance to be drawn to you. In Jesus Name Amen.
